We’ve all sat in conversations and meetings about creating change and found that those very same conversations create exactly the same outcomes. Often, no change is created because we’re still using the same patterns and belief structures. Ego, perfection, and judgemental thoughts continue to hold us back. We know there’s a better way, we believe in possibility. FutureMaking focuses on that possibility becoming a reality by embracing Open Mind, Open Heart, and Open Will.
The suggested arrival day is Tuesday, although you may certainly arrive earlier.
Note: During registration you may reserve round-trip transportation to/from the Munich airport to Das Tegernsee by the FutureMaking team. Details of all transportation options from Munich are available on our Location page.
In the evening we will meet at one of the secluded lounges, the Schlossbar, for a small gathering.
Indulge in a generous, varied, and high-end breakfast buffet that will satisfy any dietary need. Held on the ground floor of the Sengerschoss (Castle), it includes a wondrous water view that is both relaxing and inspiring. Breakfast is included in the room fee. The scheduled time is a suggestion; feel free to arrive & leave breakfast at a time that is convenient to you.
We will provide a bountiful lunch at Restaurant Senger that will accommodate all dietary needs including gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan. Please let us know if you have any particular requests or atypical restrictions.
The afternoon is open to continue exciting conversations, taking time for reflection or spending time with your friends and family. It is up to you to decide what to do with the rest of the day. You might take a hike uphill to the Neureuth-Haus that overlooks the valley or relax and rejuvenate at the hotel spa (all saunas and pools are included in the room fee). Around Lake Tegernsee there is also a flat waterfront walk, ferry across the lake, and many shops to explore.

We’ll continue to weave concepts and experiences together. The first two days we focused on the present: being able to look at our current reality, deepening our understanding of it, and getting glimpses into the emerging future.
On Friday, we’ll continue to weave these ideas into more practical application. We’ll stand in our knowledge that we have a broader sense of the current reality and we’ll be able to turn to what is next.
We will be able to get a clear sense of how we move forward in our relationships, organizations, communities, and family. We are now able, willing, and excited, to shape these preferred outcomes.
We’ll take the concepts of Open Mind, Open Heart, and Open Will and experience them on an individual level.
You’ll identify old patterns and their limitations and also learn how to create the space to experience new patterns of relationship and being together.
“All great discoveries come from a deep inner journey.”
– W. Brian Arthur
The focus will shift from the individual perspective to also include interaction in a group.
We’ll experience the different ways we influence others and also how groups influence us.
We’ll continue to become attuned to new behavior patterns that allow us to become more aligned with our preferred future.
High energy learning will cap the afternoon. As a group we’ll generate new ways to look at leadership challenges and questions.
Feel free to bring examples from your own experience, as we’ll be looking to examine difficult real life situations.
You’ll become aware of the power of space as an individual, in small groups, and large groups.
We’ll observe our experience of space and how it can trap us in old beliefs or enable us to be fully present and open to the joy of future possibilities.
